Article written on
The Musica a Villa Durio review reopens in May. The city's musical season is born in 2000 with the aim of enriching the cultural life of Varallo Sesia, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and home to the Sacro Monte, a UNESCO heritage site since 2003.
Musica a Villa Durio is organized by the 24/7 Association, a member of I-Jazz, which brings together 70 of the best jazz festivals and reviews in Italy. The programming, conceived by maestro Massimo Giuseppe Bianchi, founder and artistic director of the festival, will range from jazz to bluegrass, from lieder to Vivaldi's baroque, from Monteverdi to the author's song.
